Nearly 30 artists, over 12 musical groups, and a wide variety of musical themes: Spain, Flamenco, Gipsy, Latin America, Latin Pop, Mexico, Cuba, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, France, 80s Pop, French and international variety…
Festive, popular, and authentic shows, designed to adapt to all audiences and every type of event.
Based in the Hauts-de-France region, we travel all across France and Europe: Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, England, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and far beyond.

Genesis:
From NELITO & PEPE to… LA COMPANŸA
EVERY STORY BEGINS WITH A MEETING…
The story of LA COMPANŸA begins with two artists, two personalities, and two voices: Nelito and Pepe.
Two different backgrounds, two complementary universes, and the same passion for Spanish, Gipsy, Flamenco, and Latin music.
NELITO — A VOICE WITH IBERIAN ROOTS
The name Nelito comes from the diminutive of his father’s first name, Antonio Manuel.
Drawing from his Iberian roots, Nelito developed a powerful and recognizable vocal timbre early on, allowing him to express himself across many repertoires: Gipsy, Flamenco, Spanish, and Latin music.
He began his artistic career at the age of 18 and quickly performed in many famous cabarets and iconic venues throughout the Hauts-de-France region.
Over the years, performances multiplied, encounters grew, and his reputation expanded.
PEPE — A VOICE FROM GALICIA
Pepe, short for José and known as Joselito Del Fuego, originates from Sofán in Galicia, Spain.
His path is that of a true stage performer.
He performed for nearly ten years on stages in Geneva, then in Paris, before settling in Northern France.
For over five decades, he performed in numerous venues and piano bars across the Lille region.
A true benchmark in Spanish and Latin music, Pepe possesses a powerful voice and a now-rare trait: the ancestral ability of Spanish cantantes and cantaores to project their voice without amplification.

2007 — THE BEGINNINGS
The two artists met in the early 2000s, quickly establishing a strong artistic connection.
In October 2007, they founded the duo that would become iconic to their many fans:
LOS DE LA NOCHE
Shows and initial recordings followed one after another, centered around Spanish, Gipsy, Flamenco, and Latin sounds.
After a long period of touring as a duo and then as a trio, a new ambition emerged: to deliver a richer, more visual, and musically expansive show.
THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOS DE LA NOCHE
David Vasco Nelito, who gradually stepped into the role of leader and artistic director of the group, decided to expand the band by integrating more dance and a larger musical line-up.
The group gradually grew to 8 artists on stage.
The music gained scale, the show developed from everyone’s ideas, influences, and experiences, and the group’s artistic identity solidified.
Flamenco influences and dance took on an essential role, notably through the collaboration with seasoned artists like Estrella La Peli de Linares, daughter of La Zambrana (the first major figure in flamenco dance in Lille since 1984).
Music, singing, and dance came together into a complete show built around Flamenco, Gipsy, Spanish, and Latin cultures.
Over the years, many other artists joined the ensemble.
Saxophonists, clarinetists, guitarists, and other musicians enriched the arrangements, bringing new textures—especially jazzy nuances—to the repertoire.
LA COMPANŸA — TAKING FLIGHT
The richness of this journey inspired new desires: Why limit ourselves to a single musical universe?
Why not bring together several formations, several cultures, and several artistic identities within the same venture?
This is how LA COMPANŸA gradually came to life.
From LOS DE LA NOCHE to OVER 12 GROUPS
Over the years, new formations emerged, each with its own identity, repertoire, and universe:
- TANGO VIVO ORCHESTRA: A journey into the world of Argentine tango, from Carlos Gardel to Astor Piazzolla.
- RITMO DEL SOLÉ: Sun-soaked rhythms and classic Latin sounds for summer stages and events.
- LOS GRINGOS: A Latin music reference in Hauts-de-France, notably showcased at the El Dorado festival by Lille3000, with whom we have collaborated since its inception.
- FESTA LUSA: Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde: a unique journey through Portuguese-speaking cultures in Europe.
- GIPSY OLÉ STARS: Gipsy music in all its vibrant colors, blending tradition, energy, and modernity.
- BAL A FIESTA: The great popular dance revisited: generous, festive, and cross-generational.
- HIT’ALIA: The Italian pop you love from the 70s to the 90s.
- MIX ANDINO: Great traditional and popular music from the Andes.
- LOS MARIACHIS DEL NORTE: A true musical journey to Mexico around classic Mariachi traditions.
- COMPASONERA: Salsa, merengue, bachata, and Caribbean rhythms for a thoroughly festive atmosphere.
- CHARANGA: A spectacular Hispanic brass band bringing together musicians and dancers.
- AIRES DEL SUR: A fusion of tunes from Southern Europe and Latin America.
- LATIN POP’ROCK: An original Latin Pop-Rock repertoire featuring major hits from Latin America.

What started as a meeting between two singers has evolved over the years into a true artistic adventure.
Today, LA COMPANŸA brings together nearly 30 professional musicians, singers, and dancers, over 12 line-ups, and a multitude of musical worlds.
Yet the core remains unchanged: The passion for the stage – The joy of playing together – The desire to share.
